This HVLS(High volume low speed) fan is driven directly by PMSM(Permanent magnet synchronous motor),there’s no gearbox transmission between the motor and the impeller , it’s high efficiency and totally maintenance free.
The traditional HVLS fans is an Induction Motor/Gearbox system, efficiency is low, gearbox need maintenance and is not reliable, the height of traditional HVLS fan is much higher than the PMSM HVSL fan, the motor position and the gravity center is above the fan blades, easily cause shaking due to the gravity center of the system is much higher than the blades,
This HVLS PMSM fan system can create constant airflow to reduce perceived temperatures by 9-12°C, Reduce energy costs up to 30% by minimizing the temperature differential from the ceiling to the floor, it can:
